MB-70 HI

This is a window and door system with increased thermal insulation.
In response to the constantly growing demand for construction products with high thermal insulation, MB-70HI, MB-70US HI window and door systems were developed to include a thermal partition and a curtain wall based on MB-70CW HI windows. Their construction is based on proven, extensive and renowned MB-70, MB-70US and MB-70CW base systems.
The thermal insulation of frames in these systems is superior to their base systems.
As for the MB-70HI system construction, its Uf coefficient, depending on the profiles and accessories used, ranges from 1.0 to 2.3 W/m2K.
Such increased thermal insulation is achieved by placing special insulation inserts in a central, insulating chamber, formed by joining aluminium profiles with thermal separators. These inserts – due to the low value of their heat conductivity coefficient – reduce heat flow through this chamber. The central position of these inserts also reduces thermal radiation and convection.
Windows and doors in the MB-70HI system, similarly to its base system, can be used both in individual built-in structures and in aluminium façades. When used as mullion-transom wall filling, a combined set of MB-70HI and MB-SR50 HI (with its increased thermal insulation) is the most appropriate system.
